The Ironbridge Ogre Visits St.Patricks Catholic PS
Such a fabulous afternoon today meeting the children from St.Patricks Catholic Primary School in Wellington.
I gave them lots of secret insights into the making of The Ironbridge Ogre book and why I created the story for Telford 50! It was lovely to hear all their thoughts about the story, and to talk about various ways they like to use art at home as well as school. I was pleasantly surprised to hear how so many enjoy writing stories in their spare time. Just as I did at their age :)
And to end the afternoon I bought along a very special guest… The REAL LIFE OGRE himself!!
