We did it! The launch of The Ironbridge Ogre
WOW what can I say…this was honestly one of the best days of my life! We had such a great turn out. The day was non-stop with children and families who were all so excited to see the new Telford 50 book!
The Mayor of Telford was there to open the launch…along with The Christmas smile team who are receiving donations from the sales of the book throughout November. And not forgetting the real life Ogre was there!
I'm so overwhelmed by all of the support from everyone. It's been a long journey since I started the book earlier this year, and there has been some testing times, but it has all been totally worth it.
I also hope that the book brings people together in being proud of where they live and to be inspired by my story.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me! and to everyone that managed to come and see us at launch. I am so grateful to you all!
Whats next? …
Myself and The Ogre are looking forward to visiting some local schools in Telford and telling the children all about our new book! Keep an eye out…
