Wrockwardine Wood Infants School - Wall display of myths & Legends
My most recent visit to Wrockwardine Wood Infants school was an absolute pleasure! The children have been learning about myths and legends and have been visiting local areas in Telford.
We had some art based workshops set up where I demonstrated the basics of making a clay model. The children were very excited and keen to get stuck in! They made their own Giants and Ogre’s based on their character drawings. They all had fabulous ideas and did amazingly well. They will be writing their very own stories to go with their characters.
I also gave a book reading in assembly and talked about how I made the story and why I created it for Telford’s 50th birthday.
I had a wonderful day at the school, what an inspiration the children are, and I am very impressed with the work they have done.
