5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book! Who Can Be A Superhero?

Reviewed 2 June 2020

Wow! What a fantastic little book. Purchased to read to our Grandchildren in our Lockdown video story times, so relevant, as we have so many key workers in our family, the kids could really relate to the story. Big thumbs up from us, something to look back on in years to come too.

Yesterday (the day after reading the book for the first time) my 3 year old son told a delivery driver he’s a superhero. The delivery driver was very appreciative to be called a superhero after my husband explained the book to him. Such a great way for children to understand what’s going on at the moment. Thank you Toni for the wonderful book 💕

Fantastic Book! Definitely one for helping children understand our superhero Key Workers whilst we are in lockdown and encourages children to ask questions too. Loved the layout and how it flowed. My little boy and I loved looking for the rainbows throughout the book again very relatable to what's happening now. I feel this is a keepsake too so we can look back in the future at this part of history. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely, interesting, fun and important! WHO CAN BE A SUPERHERO? Reviewed on 29 April 2020

Loved!
Totally needed at a time like this. The kids enjoyed the rhymes and distinctive art style. It actually inspired quite a bit of conversation about what makes a hero and we discussed what is really important when making a country operate in times of crisis.
I love that thanks to this book my children no longer solely think of marvel characters as their heroes. Don't get me wrong they aren't asking for Asda employee memorabilia or anything but it explained a really nuanced sentiment in an easy to digest fashion that seems to have hit home. We enjoyed it so much we ordered the authors other book. Hoping for a sequel very soon!
